Deerfield Park Foundation was established in 1983 to preserve and beautify the open space in Deerfield, to help provide amenities for our parks, and to offer financial assistance to those in need. To accomplish these goals, the Foundation solicits donations from businesses, corporations, and individuals; sponsors fund-raising events, operates "recognition-based giving" opportunities, and supports and volunteers at community events such as Community Services Day and the July 4th Parade.
Our Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. Donations to the Foundation are tax
deductible to the extent allowed by law.

2008 Events
Two long-time fundraising events: a September Moonlight Golf event and a spring Joint Golf Outing (run in cooperation with the Deerfield District 109 Education Foundation) are again planned for 2008. Watch for details on these/other activities.
Current Project Focus
Be A "Dear" of the Park Foundation, “Buy-A-Brick” (or paver) for Deerspring or Mitchell Pool, and the Art Auction and Golf Outings are the main focus of fund-raising efforts to support Deerspring's Accessible Playground & Grants-In-Aid (Scholarship) Program.
