Forms & Publications

The Deerfield Park Foundation was established in 1983 to preserve and beautify the open space in Deerfield, to help provide amenities for our parks, and to offer financial assistance to those in need. According to its bylaws, the primary goal of the Foundation is to promote and develop recreation facilities and services in the Deerfield Park District. To accomplish these goals, the Foundation solicits donations from businesses, corporations, individuals, foundations and other agencies. The Foundation also sponsors fund-raising events, operates “recognition-based” giving opportunities and supports and volunteers at community events such as Community Services Day and the July 4th parade.

The two main projects of the Foundation currently are to provide monies for the Deerfield Park District Grant-in-Aid program (scholarships) and to contribute to the accessible playground at Deerspring Park. By soliciting tax-deductible contributions, the Foundation is able to supplement and improve existing leisure and recreation programs and services. All donations and charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
